The wine’s aromatic constellation is classy and already shows enormous potential, wafting from the glass in a mix of ripe quince, apple, a whisper of the yellow plum to come, complex chalky minerality, citrus peel, white lilies, citrus blossoms and a topnote of bee pollen. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and impressively deep at the core, with a fine girdle of acidity, excellent mineral drive and cut, lovely focus and balance and a long, complex and very, very promising finish. Like the le Mont Sec in 2022, the Clos du Bourg Sec really deserves to just be tucked away until it comes out of its period of hibernation and starts to hit on all cylinders. 」ワイン・スペクテーター94点「Perfumed and juicy, with a concentration that builds.
