越後大浜人形（別名：村上土人形）
江戸時代に三河国の瓦産地大浜から越後国村上藩領に移住した瓦工が、同地に窯を築き御用瓦を焼きはじめ、余技として土人形を作ったのが始まりです。 現在では、作り手が途絶えてしまったお人形ですが、大切に保管していた子孫たちが今でも家々に飾っておられます。 また、3月には「城下町村上 町屋の人形さま巡り」という企画で、地元以外の方々にも町屋に残るこのような人形を通して、その家々や城下町村上の歴史を知っていただいております。 → 他の土人形はこちら → 他の人形はこちら A doll that depicts a man wearing a topknot and wearing Japanese clothes sitting straight and bowing is called a ``Fukusuke doll.'' Its origins date back to the Edo period. It all began when a tile craftsman who moved from the tile-producing area of Ohama, Mikawa Province to the Murakami domain in Echigo Province built a kiln there and fired tiles for government use, as well as making clay dolls in his spare time. Although the person who made the doll is no longer with us, his descendants who cherished the doll still display it in their homes.
