First published in 1998. Volume 14 out of a collection of 25 of Seventeenth- Century Italian Sacred Music, focuses on the works of Vesper, and compline music for four principal voices. This series presents a large selection of Italian sacred music scored from printed part-books, works which have not been published in modem editions. Sacred music constitutes the largest gap in our present understanding of seventeenth-century Italian music.
