Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott, 1st Baronet.He was a Scottish historical novelist, playwright and poet with many contemporary readers in Europe, Australia, and North America.Ivanhoe is a historical novel, first published in 1820 in three volumes and subtitled A Romance.
