Ian Walton was born in Leicester in 1951. Expelled from the City of Leicester Boys' School at the age of 12 he continued his education at a local Secondary Modern. At 17 he joined the Merchant Navy and travelled extensively while working as a cook. The rest of his life has included - Editorship of several Leisure Magazines, running his own business, and selling advertising.
