Milaguthanni (literally, “pepper water”, in Tamil) has always been the comfort food for the author, Dr. Vidya R. Sridhar who hails from South India. She often drinks it when she has the common cold, flu or just is not in her best of spirit. It actually brings happiness and rejuvenates her soul, hence she calls it her soul food. Similar to Milaguthanni, the author hopes that her stories bring comfort to one’s soul.
