When the magus Baracus, and the king’s cousin, Wulfric, arrive at Templemead they find the town ravaged, desolate, and its people fled. As they search for the town’s remnants on the Southern Plains, they discover a weakness in the elemental barrier that separates the paradisiacal world of Parras from Ashtoreth and his daemonic horde. They, along with Taric, a tall woodsman hell-bent on destroying Ashtoreth’s minions, regardless of the personal cost to himself, must warn the three kingdoms of Parras against the impending danger.
