Volodymyr Oleksandrovych Zelenskyy What is numerology? Number is the essence of all things The legendary Pythagoras of Samos (570-510 BC) - philosopher, mathematician, initiate. How does numerology work? When you come into contact with numerology for the first time, you will certainly ask yourself: Why does it work and what are the principles behind it? Well, if one could answer these questions in one sentence, it would hardly be an occult science (esoteric). However, people have known that numerology works for thousands of years. Behind this are divine-cosmic principles that should be tried out and tested by you. Pythagoras - father of numerology The Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagoras lived between 569-470 BC. It is said that he was the founder of modern numerology. The true origins of numerology, however, date back to much earlier times. Pythagoras was a well-travelled man who lived in Egypt for much of his life and supposedly also met the wise men of his time in India. Above all, however, the science of the Hebrew Kabbalah dealt with the science and the mysteries of numbers thousands of years before Pythagoras. Only nowadays, the old genius Pythagoras seems to be interesting again for many numerologists. Number symbolism (also number mysticism or numerology) means the assignment of meanings to individual numbers or number combinations, whereby the numbers receive a symbolic function that refers to their mathematical function. This symbolism, with differences in expression and function, is observed in religion, liturgy, literature, customs and superstition and also plays a role in research into historical forms of music, architecture, medicine, art and law. In contrast to the mathematical understanding of numbers, in which numbers have purely formal functions, number mysticism assigns certain numbers to meanings that go beyond this. In customs, mysticism and religion, numbers charged with meaning appear as symbols, as metaphors or in the structure of rites (e.g. oracles) or buildings. These numbers are given a specific character, an individual quality and characteristics, such as "male", "female", "auspicious" or "sacred", which can vary depending on the culture. Value judgments about things are often transferred to the numbers linked to them, or vice versa, value judgments about numbers are transferred to the things linked to them. Almost all numeric symbolic systems consider the single-digit numbers from one to seven as well as ten. This is probably due to the phases of the moon and the cultural conventions derived from them, such as the seven-day week. The number ten is also fundamental to the decimal system, based on the ten-fingered hands. Number symbolism is widespread in numerous cultures and religions worldwide. The first and comprehensive system of Western numerology based on symbolic biblical exegesis was developed by Pietro Bongo in the late 16th century. There are numerous numerology systems that give a numeric value to certain letters in the alphabet. Examples include Abjad, Hebrew numerals, and Armenian numerals. The Jewish tradition of interpreting words based on their numerical values is called gematria. The Arabic system of numerology is Abjad. In this system, each letter of the Arabic alphabet has a specific value. By President.gov.ua, CC BY 4.0, commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?curid=84298249画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。
