In the year 2020 when Covid touched down - so did the madness. Our world seemingly turned upside down and backward. My office was closed and folks had to work from home. When I realized the serious/negative impact this was having on my colleagues and those around me - I started to write words of encouragement - every day. I would send an email every morning to the Team - to cheer, inspire, motivate, and encourage them - to keep on keeping on. During one of our online staff meetings - the staff spoke about how much my daily connection and words of inspiration meant to them. They spoke of the impact it had on them - giving them a sense of hope, laughter, and peace. My 2 cents made a difference. A positive difference. A life-long difference. It felt good. I thought to myself - 'why not share this positivity with the world - they could benefit from feeling some sense of hope and peace. As I tried to figure out how to go about getting all this down on paper - I decided to add my poetry - and voila.... Divinely Poetic was created. I truly hope that you will find a smile, encouragement, or some level of hope within these lines.
