Johann isn't doing too well at university, held back by a bout of depression out of his felt inadequacy as a composer and a general anxiety towards life. Recently, he has also developed a feeling of being followed or watched. What pulls him out of his funk is his sudden interest in his new next-door neighbor, Ants, who moved all the way from Estonia to Germany to pursue his master's.
