A single mother is desperate for some extra cash, but not for the typical reasons, She has a day job that is not sufficiently providing for her family, and other war widows can relate. A group of war-widow mothers have decided to form a small choir to go around, in the evenings, and sing Christmas carols to the neighboring homes for spare change to help them survive Christmas with a little dignity. But this mother, agrees to join to earn money to pay for the few holiday traditions she wants to keep alive with the surviving children she has still at home this Christmas. Desperate to keep something familiar in their world during this precious season while the war rages on, this widowed mother joins the The Christmas Carolers group. But one night, while she is coming home to her three children, the bombing raid helps her to realize she would rather be home than out saving money just to keep a few traditions alive. She prays for the Lord to send an angel to protect her children, and she hurries home with a revived hope that all will be well. When she arrives, she notices that a widowed neighbor, an older woman who has now lost her husband and only surviving son, has been sneaking over in the evenings to tend to the children while their mother is out earning the tiny coinage she can pocket. This evening, however, the neighbor lady decides to stick around to share a few very insightful, inspiring words. And the next morning The Christmas Caroler takes those words to heart. She changes everything with a new plan to spread joy and peace in a war-torn community desperate for a reminder of Christ this Christmas especially. The story is a narrative poem, and includes a beautiful ballad that repeats a special message. Written for families with the hope and faith that warmth fills their home and hearts the year through.画面が切り替わりますので、しばらくお待ち下さい。
