What is Secular? Secularism :- Allows everyone to practice their religious beliefs and beliefs with complete freedom. This concept of keeping religion separate from the state is called secularism. Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Parsi, Jain And there were people of other religions also. In the Indian Constitution fundamental rights Arrangements have been made. These rights not only protect us from the power of the state but also protect us from the tyranny of the majority. The Indian Constitution gives complete freedom to everyone to adopt religious beliefs and practices. The Indian state has adopted a strategy of keeping religion and state power separate from each other. Why is it important to separate religion from the state?
