Alchemical Christ is an in-depth exploration of the life of Jesus, the man behind the myth and the myth behind the man. Many of these cultural deities were based on celestial phenomena related to the sun, moon, planets and stars. The Bible condemns all knowledge gained from the observation of the heavens, but could the reason behind this taboo be an attempt to hide the stellar identity of the Gods? The Sacred Marriage between the God/Sun and Goddess/Venus was enacted inside the Temple of King Solomon in Jerusalem based on these astro-theological beliefs. The Israelite God, Yahweh, was married to the Goddess Asherah for most of Hebrew history, forming the foundation for the myths related to Jesus and Mary Magdalene. As monotheism solidified after the Babylonian captivity and the destruction of Jerusalem, God became the sole deity, while the priestesses and the Goddesses were turned into prostitutes.
