One late night, a maintenance man working in the theater reached over to turn off the lights when something moved from underneath a tarp, and a story was born. Vampire bats flew out and bit him, but they never dreamed he would bite them back. This led him to absorb their power and sacred blood. Amidst the mayhem, he and an outcast bat became fast friends, with the little bat ended up teaching him the ropes of being a vampire and prepared him for an army of monsters thirsty for the blood of the ancients. And because of their telepathic abilities, the monsters are aware if his existence and whereabouts. Hiding in plain sight, he continues working in the theater, even as he struggled with his secret.
