Starting from this concept we have created a mechanics that pushes on the edges diagonally, and not sideways (like all other counterforms in the market) where the grain of the wood is fragile. Solid Finnish birch plywood and other simple but high-quality materials are ideal to ensure that this indispensable tool remains strong and stable over decades, especially for luthiers who use it daily.
