YAMAHA YZF-R1 (15-)■詳細説明Directly inherited from the real-world experience developed incollaboration with Australian ASBK race champions，the practicalknowledge has been translated into a more street/track dual-purposeuser-friendly version.The multi-thickness design targeting the inner thighs，the anti-slipslope for rapid deceleration，and the reference position for elbowsupport during side hanging were all considered to achieve“completecoverage”and“allowing the rider to focus more on drivingcontrol”creating a more integrated feeling between the rider andthe bike.The R1 is a speed machine designed for racing tracks，naturallyrequiring more diverse riding demands： side hanging，rapiddeceleration，elbow resting on the tank，etc.，all of which influencethe design philosophy of the original tank.The distribution lines between the tank pad pieces are not onlyvisual embellishments but also the thickness distributionseparators.Whether the rider’s movements and post-movement discomfort are allwithin the R2’s considerations，each piece’s shape subtly indicatesits role in aiding the ride.In addition to reducing rider fatigue and instability from slidingwith R2’s signature multi-thickness and special materials，we had asudden inspiration.Using designs similar to deceleration slopes and small wings on theupper edge of the tank as reference points for knees andhands，riders don’t need to pay extra attention to the relativepositions of their bodies and the bike.Reduced body movement naturally decreases physicalexertion，allowing racers/riders to focus more on riding.R2 hopes to provide every user with an enjoyable driving experiencethrough the tank pads，which is the true power of new technology.
